“Thanks especially to Christine Ottery, who helped expertly with my research (and whose thoughtful blog you should certainly follow)”
- David Rowan, editor of Wired UK on future of science journalism research.
Christine Ottery worked as a researcher for the Guardian on the Biodiversity 100 project. She was an important member of the team who helped to establish the evidence basis for conservation actions the project was championing. This involved sifting and evaluating complex scientific evidence and boiling down difficult conservation issues into concrete actions that could be proposed to governments.
- James Randerson, environment and science news editor at the Guardian on Biodiversity 100 research.
“This is another truly brilliant selection. You are amazing: the best researcher I’ve ever had. Your examples are much more interesting than I could have conceived of, and I find them so compelling.”
- George Monbiot on Green Heroes research.
