Campaigning
Over Winter 2011-2012 I worked for the Eradicating Ecocide campaign as a communications and media person. I created press opportunities, wrote op-eds, worked on the website, Tweeted, and thought up with lots of creative campaigning ideas. I came up with our campaign messaging, and also press, communications and social media strategies.
In Autumn 2010 I was involved in the Guardian’s Biodiversity 100 campaign. I conducted research, factchecked, and wrote. I also spread the word of the campaign to environment blogs, including Nature Blogs.
I have done voluntary bits of work for my local Amnesty activism group and have done a stint in early 2011 as a co-editor of WomensViewsOnNews.org.
